Cruise on the Fjord
Off-Site Activities
Explore the Saguenay Fjord from the water
Don’t miss the chance to explore one of the region’s most iconic landscapes on a three-hour cruise along the majestic Saguenay Fjord. Departing from Sainte-Rose-du-Nord, let the fjord’s waters carry you along as you admire the impressive scenery that unfolds along the way.
This ancient glacial valley, which was flooded by the sea during the deglaciation, extends deep inland and offers a spectacular natural setting. From the boat, you can admire its imposing headlands, its vertiginous cliffs, and the vast forests that line its shores.
The tour will take you to the spectacular Baie Éternité, where you can catch a glimpse of the famous statue of Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay. Throughout the cruise, an experienced guide will introduce you to the history, heritage, and natural features of this exceptional region.
Depending on the schedule and availability, board the Marjolaine II, the Fjord Saguenay II, or the Cap Liberté. Each boat offers a pleasant way to fully enjoy the fjord’s spectacular scenery.
Departures take place from the Sainte-Rose-du-Nord pier from May through October, according to a predetermined schedule.
