This fall, go whale-watching at one of the world’s best viewing spots. From Tadoussac or Les Escoumins, set out on a cruise along the St. Lawrence River and enjoy the exceptional scenery where the river’s waters blend with the vibrant colors of the boreal forest.
Whether in a Zodiac or aboard a boat, let the waters of the St. Lawrence carry you as you search for the many species of whales that frequent the region. With a little luck, you’ll be able to spot belugas, rorquals, and other large marine mammals in their natural habitat.
On board, naturalist guides share their knowledge and help you better understand the behavior, habitat, and way of life of these impressive creatures. You’ll also explore the Saguenay–St. Lawrence Marine Park, a vast protected marine area covering 1,245 km², where the freshwater of the fjord meets the saltwater of the St. Lawrence River.
