Multi-skilled outfitting employee
As the backbone of the hostel’s smooth running, the multi-skilled team member is involved in a number of areas: customer reception, service, upkeep of the premises, and support for activities.

Job description
- Welcome customers on arrival (check-in), present facilities and safety instructions
- Provide information on the activities offered
- Respond to customer requests throughout their stay
- Participate in meal service
- Clean and prepare cottages and rooms between stays
- Ensure the cleanliness of common areas and the kitchen
- Check that equipment (heating, water, lighting, etc.) is working properly.
- Help maintain trails, docks, boats, snowmobiles, etc.
- Carry out minor repairs or report maintenance needs
- Transport firewood, provisions or equipment as required
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Versatility, autonomy and resourcefulness
- Several languages preferred
- Good customer relations skills: listening, patience, benevolence
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficiency in office automation tools
- Team spirit
- Effective communication
- Similar experience desirable

- With or without qualifications in tourism.
