Fall Cruise: A Visual Delight!
Off-Site Activities
A cruise through the heart of fall’s colors
When Indian summer sets in, the Saguenay Fjord transforms into an extraordinary natural spectacle. The boreal forests are adorned with shades of red, orange, and yellow, offering a striking backdrop to be discovered from the waters of the fjord.
Come aboard for a three-hour cruise and let us guide you through one of the Saguenay region’s most iconic landscapes. As you cruise along, admire the imposing rocky headlands, the dizzying cliffs, and the vast expanses of forest that surround this ancient glacial valley, now submerged by seawater.
The tour will take you to the spectacular Baie Éternité, home to the famous statue of Notre-Dame-du-Saguenay. Throughout the tour, an experienced guide will share the history, geography, and heritage of this unique region with you.
Depending on the schedule and availability, the cruise takes place aboard the Marjolaine II, the Fjord Saguenay II, or the Cap Liberté, each offering different passenger capacities to ensure you can fully enjoy this experience.
Cruises depart from the Sainte-Rose-du-Nord pier from May through October, according to a set schedule. In the fall, the cruise becomes a wonderful way to admire the vibrant colors of the Saguenay and fully experience the magic of Indian summer.
